The Formula 1 Sponsorship forum, which will take place in Monaco on November 16-17, is pulling some some very big names in the sport. The event will include two keynote conference sessions, presented by globally-recognised industry leaders and 40 seminars which will cover the different fields being discussed. These will be chaired by experts from the sectors involved. In addition there will be an exhibition and demonstration area.
"With the number of multi-billion dollar, multi-national companies represented at the forum, this could become the most important event on the Formula 1 calendar," says John Hogan, a Formula 1 marketeer for the last 35 years. "Missing it could cost millions in lost revenue."
Bernie Ecclestone is supporting the event and says that is set to be "an exciting addition to the commercial value of Formula 1."
The forum is to be chaired by another high profile F1 marketeer Julian Jakobi, who has spent over 20 years in F1 managing drivers and organising deals.
Among those who will speak at the conference are Michael Payne (formerly of the Olympic organisation and now with Formula One Management), Ferrari's head of brand development and partners Giulio Zambeletti, the global head of Diageo's sponsorships Sean Jefferson, Hans Mahr, who is the head of sport of the Premiere TV channel, and driver manager Enrico Zanarini.
