Hakkinen plans more rallying

Former Formula 1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen finished 30th in the Arctic Lapland Rally at the weekend and is now saying that he will have another try at rallying.

Former Formula 1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen finished 30th in the Arctic Lapland Rally at the weekend and is now saying that he will have another try at rallying.

Hakkinen said he enjoyed the event more and more as it went on and by the end of the 175-mile event through ice and snow he was only 10 minutes behind the winner Janne Tuohino, who took the lead after Juuso Pykalisto ran into a herd of reindeer at high speed.

Hakkinen's mentor Keke Rosberg, another former World Champion was 45th.
