Hakkinen fastest again at Silverstone

MIKA HAKKINEN again headed the charge at Silverstone in the second day of a three-team test. The Finn set a best effort of 1m21.755s in his 56 laps of the Northamptonshire circuit, followed by the Jaguar of Eddie Irvine three quarters of a second back and McLaren's official test driver, Alex Wurz, almost two seconds off in third.

Pedro de la Rosa and Andre Lotterer both did a second day with Jaguar, the pair separated by two seconds and the pair of Arrows belonging to Jos Verstappen and Enrique Bernoldi.
