Our spies at Enstone tell us that there is currently discussion going on between Mike Gascoyne, the Renault F1 team and Toyota about a settlement which would allow Gascoyne to move to Cologne.

Our spies at Enstone tell us that there is currently discussion going on between Mike Gascoyne, the Renault F1 team and Toyota about a settlement which would allow Gascoyne to move to Cologne. One story we have heard is that Renault will agree to the deal if Toyota agrees to release its engine designer Luca Marmorini to Renault. In order for Gascoyne to depart from Renault there needs to be some kind of settlement as the English designer has two more years to run on his contract.
