JORDAN driver Heinz-Harald Frentzen will not be competing in this year's Canadian Grand Prix due to illness.

JORDAN driver Heinz-Harald Frentzen will not be competing in this year's Canadian Grand Prix due to illness.

The German driver suffered a serious accident in Friday's second practice session and has complained of dizziness and sickness.

Frentzen had felt ill in Monaco two-weeks ago after a crash at the Monte Carlo circuit but was given the all clear by doctors to fly to Montreal.

However this latest accident has forced Frentzen to pull out of the Canadian Grand Prix, and he will be replaced by reserve team driver Ricardo Zonta.
