Ford man to head MSA
Britain's Motor Sports Association, the national governing authority, is to have a new chairman, John Grant.
A lifelong racing fan and a competitor in the 1960s and 1970s, he was involved in the organization of the Jaguar sportscar programs in the 1980s but more recently has been competing in historic events with a Chevron B19 and a Jaguar XJR-17. The appointment of Grant may help the MSA towards regaining a place on the FIA World Motor Sport Council, from which it has been absent in recent months.
