FIA revises F1 numbering order for 2002

THE FIA has received requests from a number of F1 teams that the race numbers for the 2002 FIA Formula 1 World Championship should follow the order of the previous year. This is instead of the traditional system under which each team, except that of the incoming World Champion, kept its numbers from year to year.

The FIA has agreed to this request and therefore the official entry list is now as follows, replacing the provisional list original issued on 3 December:
