FERRARI were forced to abandon their proposed schedule for Saturday's testing at Mugello and work on settings for the F2001.

Rubens Barrichello had been expected to perform a long-distance run at the Italian circuit, but the circuit was hit by wet weather and the Brazilian instead did a warm-up run on the F2001.

Barrichello ran with both wet and intermediate Bridgestone tires during a three-hour workout. He completed 25 laps with a best time of one minute and 31.665 seconds.
