This weekend will see two Formula 1 teams running cars at promotional events: Minardi will be at Donington Park for the Thunder in the Park meeting while Ferrari is sending a car to Zandvoort to take part in the hugely-popular Marlboro Masters Formula 3 event. The event will also feature demonstrations by World Championship motorcyles and rally machinery.

The main event will, as always, be the Marlboro Masters, the first international gathering of the year of the Formula 3 world and one of the races which young drivers most want to win. Hot favourite this year will be Carlin Motorsport's James Courtney but the Australian is going to have to work hard if he is to beat the visiting German F3 runners.

The event was won last year by Takuma Sato, who went on to land a drive this season with the Jordan team.
