F1 teams plan alternative to FIA CDG rear wing

The Formula 1 teams are planning to propose an alternative solution to the FIA's Central Downwash Generating rear wing.

The Formula 1 teams are planning to propose an alternative solution to the FIA's Central Downwash Generating rear wing. The hope is that the proposal will create a situation in which the technical regulations for 2008 will finally be sorted and that the F1 cars will be able to overtake more easily than is currently the case.

There are still some stories suggesting that the engine freeze may also be changed although the FIA insists that this will not happen. However we hear that Renault has now started to adopt a rather harder line as a result of the goings-on in recent weeks.
