THE Formula 1 team bosses were due to meet with FIA President Max Mosley on Thursday at the A1 Ring but the FIA was left somewhat annoyed when only a few of the team owners were present. In order for change to be agreed for 2002 the team bosses needed to have unanimous agreement and this did not happen because several team owners did not even have the good grace to turn up at the meeting.

Amongst the issues being discussed were a shift in the testing ban (which was blocked by Ferrari). There were various other suggestions including a change in the timetable of race weekend and restrictions on the use of the T-car. All plans were blocked.
