Ecclestone presented with golden key of Budapest
BERNIE ECCLESTONE, the FIA vice-president and Formula One ringmaster was presented with the Golden Key of Budapest on Saturday.
Ecclestone was awarded the special honor by the Lord Mayor of Budapest Gabor Demszky for his services to the country through Formula One.
As well as receiving the key, Ecclestone signed the Golden Book of Budapest - one page after the French president Jacques Chirac.
The Hungaroring has hosted the Hungarian Grand Prix since 1986 and Ecclestone has been fundamental in keeping the country on the Formula One calendar.
