Dixon bound for Formula 1?

There are reports in New Zealand that Scott Dixon, the Indy Racing League Champion, is on the verge of signing a deal with a Formula 1 team.

There are reports in New Zealand that Scott Dixon, the Indy Racing League Champion, is on the verge of signing a deal with a Formula 1 team. Dixon (23) has been talking to a number of F1 teams about a deal for the future after his deal with Target Chip Ganassi Racing runs out at the end of the season.

What is not clear is where Dixon might race but there has been speculation linking him with a number of teams.
