Diniz's future with Prost or Sauber but not Minardi

BRAZILIAN Pedro Diniz has said that his future will lie with Prost or Sauber after he ruled out a move Italian minnows Minardi.

Diniz, whose contract with Swiss-based Sauber expires at the end of the current season, has yet to decide over a move to Prost where his $8 million backing would go some way to funding the team's Ferrari engine deal.

But the 30-year-old has not yet ruled out his chances of staying with Sauber alongside newcomer Nick Heidfeld. He has, however, admitted a move to Minardi was not an option.

"I am definitely not going to Minardi," Diniz said. "Maybe I will go to Prost but nothing is done yet.

"I could also stay with Sauber. We are talking but there are no decisions from anybody yet."
