Designers on the move?

THE Estoril paddock was full of rumors that several top F1 designers are about to switch teams - in addition to the rumored move of Adrian Newey from Williams to McLaren.

The stories centered mainly on Ross Brawn who is tipped to become Ferrari's technical director when John Barnard's contract with the team runs out. Barnard was in Portugal and was seen talking openly with Alain Prost - tipped to be JB's future employer. There were suggestions also that Jordan's Gary Anderson was considering an offer to join the TWR Arrows operation, and even that Benetton's Rory Byrne has had enough and will go to work for Reynard.
