De La Rosa vows to stay in Formula One

PEDRO DE LA ROSA has vowed to keep his seat at Arrows and stay in Formula One as speculation mounts that his future is in doubt.

PEDRO DE LA ROSA has vowed to keep his seat at Arrows and stay in Formula One as speculation mounts that his future is in doubt.

The Spaniard has scored just one point this season and despite some impressive performances Arrows team-boss Tom Walkinshaw has hinted that nobody's drive at the team is safe.

De la Rosa, however, insisted that his future in the sport will only be dictated by whether he is still enjoying his driving.

"I don't know how many years I have got left in the sport," said De la Rosa. "But I have so much passion for motor racing and I will keep going if my performances are good and I'm psychologically motivated and fully committed to racing.

"As long as this happens I have no intention to stop. As far as I'm concerned I will keep racing as long as I'm enjoying it."
