Coulthard invests in luxury Monaco hotel

BRITON David Coulthard has followed Jacques Villeneuve's example by pursuing business interests outside of Formula One.

BRITON David Coulthard has followed Jacques Villeneuve's example by pursuing business interests outside of Formula One.

McLaren driver Coulthard is now the part owner of The Columbus Monaco, a luxury Monaco Hotel which is run by Ken McCulloch and owned by the Malmaison Group, and follows the precedent set by Villeneuve, who purchased a cafx-bar in Montreal.

Coulthard's new acquisition overlooks the harbour and the Princess Grace Rose Garden.

Sister hotels are set to follow the Monaco hotel with Britain and the United States the next venues for Coulthard's business activities.
