Button buys house in London
JENSON BUTTON's father John revealed on Friday that the BMW-Williams driver has turned his back on the playboy lifestyle of Monaco and has bought a house on the outskirts of London.
Button, who will be loaned from BMW-Williams to Benetton for the next two seasons, was expected to buy a property in Monte Carlo, but has instead opted to purchase a residence "inside the M25."
The 20-year-old has made a massive impact on Formula One in his debut season this year and was tipped to become neighbors of the likes of Johnny Herbert, David Coulthard and Jacques Villeneuve in Monaco.
Button has been the center of attention in Malaysia this week, ahead of the final race of the season. The Briton has been pictured in the newspapers opening shops, signing autographs and surfing as the Malaysians continued the 'Button mania' that has gripped many Grands Prix this season.
"I have been having a great time all year and this is just a wonderful way to end it," said Button, who this time last year had just finished third in the British Formula Three Championships before Williams snapped him up.
