Briscoe's grandad raced in Budapest
On Friday Ryan Briscoe will take to the circuit in Budapest in a Toyota Formula 1 car but it will not be the first time that someone from the Briscoe family has raced in Hungary.

On Friday Ryan Briscoe will take to the circuit in Budapest in a Toyota Formula 1 car but it will not be the first time that someone from the Briscoe family has raced in Hungary. Back in 1926, when racing first began in the country, an Austrian called Francis Lehner was a co-driver of a Daimler-Benz in one of the first races in Budapest, which took place in October that year. Lehner was Briscoe's grandfather, who later emigrated to Australia. The name of the driver of the car is not known.
