The British Racing Drivers Club has held its Annual General Meeting and has directed two new directors to replace Ray Bellm and Mark Blundell, who have resigned their positions. The new men will be former Grand Prix driver Peter Gethin, the winner of the fastest ever Grand Prix, the 1971 Italian GP at Monza, in a Yardley BRM.

The second newcomer is auctioneer and part-time historic racer Robert Brooks, who is well-known for his automobile auctions, notably the annual Ferrari auction at Gstaad.

Jackie Oliver was re-elected for another term of office while the other board members remain unchanged.
