Brazilian kart race attracts star names

THE annual Granja Viana 500 mile kart race at Interlagos, which is due to take place on November 10, had attracted many of the top names in Brazilian motorsport with the field including F1 racers Enrique Bernoldi, Ricardo Zonta and Tarso Marques, CART stars Tony Kanaan and Cristiano da Matta and rising IRL star Airton Dare. Formula 3000 will supply Mario Haberfeld and Ricardo Mauricio while they will be joined by former F1 men Chico Serra and Ricardo Rosset.

Rubens Barrichello's team, sponsored by Ferrari backer Tic Tac, hopes to win the event for a third time.
