BMW sales keep going up

While most of the car companies have reported a drop in sales figures since the terrorist attacks of September 11, BMW has just reported that its worldwide sales in October were up by 18.5 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.

WHILE most of the car companies have reported a drop in sales figures since the terrorist attacks of September 11, BMW has just reported that its worldwide sales in October were up by 18.5 percent compared to the same period in the previous year.

The Munich company is heading for a record year and currently has sales up for the year by nearly 10%. The company hopes to end the year having sold 900,000 cars, which would more than 10% ahead of 2000 figures.
