BENETTON are planning to launch their 2001 challenger at St. Mark's Square in Venice in February.

The Enstone-based team have been granted permission to use the square to launch what will be their last Formula One car before the team is re-branded under the Renault name in 2002.

The team will unveil their car for the 2001 championship in Venice and will present their drivers Jenson Button and Giancarlo Fisichella, along with test-driver Mark Webber.

Last year, Benetton launched their car high above Barcelona at the Museum of Catalunya and the team will hope to better those spectacular surroundings with their Venice launch.
