The F1 team bosses met Monday at the scheduled F1 Commission meeting and, as expected, could not agree to run the Belgium GP without Tobacco sponsorship, so the race will not take place in 2003.

The Belgian government has insisted on pushing through anti-smoking legislation which would force the teams to run without tobacco sponsorship, and the FIA ruled that the teams decide on whether to run the race or not. Being that the teams can rarely agree on anything, the race is off.
