Barrichello triumphs in Kart race

FERRARI driver Rubens Barrichello won a 500-mile endurance kart race at the Kartodromo Internacional de Cotia, outside Sao Paulo, Brazil on Sunday.

The Brazilian was paired with ex-Formula One driver Christian Fittipaldi and current Champ Car driver Tony Kaanan in the triumphant team.

The trio completed 687 laps in a winning time of 11 hours, 38 minutes and 41 seconds.

Luciano Burti, who will replace Johnny Herbert at Jaguar for next season, was in the third place group.
