Arrows unveil three-seater
ARROWS unveiled their new three-seater concept on Thursday, with the promise that it will be the closest Formula One fans will get to the experiences of the sport.
The Leafield-based team, who ran a two-seater program last year, will now allow passengers to experience the thrills of grand prix racing side-by-side with the new concept featuring two seats behind the driver.
"We've been running a two-seater and learned a lot," Arrows Commercial Director Huw Morgan said. "Passengers can get a much better experience in the three-seater.
"One of the things is that passengers can see a lot more and that makes it a much more exhilarating ride. It will go over 200 mph."
Arrows have signed an exclusive deal to run the program at Silverstone. The Northamptonshire circuit is obliged to offer the team 13 days to run on the grand prix circuit.
Morgan refused to confirm who will drive the three-seater car but confirmed that it will be the two senior drivers behind the Formula One program.
"It is a very exciting concept," he added. "We are still in the process of announcing or driver line-up for the Formula One season but the two drivers will be senior and they will drive the three-seater."
