Arrows launch A23 in Melbourne
Arrows unveiled its livery to the public in Melbourne on Wednesday morning, just two days before the new A23 will take to the Albert Park circuit in the hands of Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Enrique Bernoldi.
There were no real sponsorship surprises for the team. The A23s bright orange color lets everyone see that telecommunications giant Orange is the team's title sponsor for the third straight year.
Austrian energy drink company Red Bull increased its level of sponsorship in 2002, and the company's logo is prominently displayed on the front wing of the new car.
The team used the event to announce that Lost Boys have renewed their sponsorship deal. As part of the deal, Lost Boys designs and maintains the team website
European fashion designer Paul Costelloe will also continue sponsoring the team in 2002.
The new car has been tested in Spain since February 4th, but was never officially launched. It features a Sauber-type front aero package, a slightly cleaner rear engine cover design, and a new Cosworth powerplant.
