ABC names F1 commentary team

ABC SPORTS has named the men who will commentate on this year's United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis. Former Grand Prix driver, Indianapolis 500 winner and IRL team owner Eddie Cheever will be the race expert alongside commentator Bob Jenkins, who normally works in IRL. The pair will be joined by pitlane reporter Jason Priestley, who is best known as an actor from the Beverly Hills 90210 series. Priestley is a big racing fan and races himself when he has the opportunity.

The television deal will mean that Formula 1 will be going into millions of households across the United States and is a major step forward in establishing F1 in the American market.
