A loss for Red Bull Racing
The departure from Red Bull Racing of head of development Anton Stipinovich is a blow for the team, not least because it shows that beneath the cheerful surface all is not necessarily wonderful.
The departure from Red Bull Racing of head of development Anton Stipinovich is a blow for the team, not least because it shows that beneath the cheerful surface all is not necessarily wonderful. Stipinovich joined the team in February 2005 after spending four years at Ferrari and prior to that was employed at McLaren. He has a solid reputation as a man who likes to get things done and his departure hints at frustration with the way the team is being run.
It is also worth noting that Dickie Stanford, the longtime team manager of Williams F1, is back on the road again, working as the manager of the Williams test team. Stanford has been with the team since 1985 and it may be that he will one day return to the race team if the current incumbent Tim Newton decides that he wants to step back.
