Air Canada withdraws sponsorship of Montreal
Air Canada has cancelled its sponsorship of the Canadian Grand Prix because it cannot afford to go on.
Portimao plans racing facility
The town of Portimao, in the Algarve in southern Portugal, is planning to build an FIA specification racing facility. It is not yet clear whether the organizers of the new track plan to bid for a Grand Prix.
More developments at the A1 Ring
The A1 Ring, which will host the last Austrian Grand Prix in a fortnight from now, has recently been acquired by Red Bull boss Dietrich Mateschitz, who has plans for a huge redevelopment scheme.
