Giorgio Scarlatti

A steady Italian privateer, Scarlatti made his modest reputation driving sports and Formula 1 cars for Maserati in the late 1950s. He shared a Porsche RSK in the 1958 Targa Florio with Jean Behra, the Frenchman later firmly expressing the view that they would have won had Scarlatti been able to drive a little faster.
