Malaysian GP 2005

Practice 2 Report - Felip-ing heck!
Felipe Massa set the fastest time of the second testing session in Malaysia and while the locals were able to enjoy the success of the Sauber Petronas team, there were few who considered that the result would be the same by the end of qualifying on Sunday morning. Massa's best lap was one hundredth of a second faster than Juan Pablo Montoya's McLaren and it was clear that McLaren is going to be more of a force than it was in Australia. The Toyota of Ricardo Zonta was third quickest in the afternoon but still set the fastest lap of the day, his best lap of the morning being faster than anything set in the hotter afternoon. Most of the teams seemed content to keep their powder dry until qualifying begins on Saturday although Williams was in trouble with Mark Webber sidelined with technical trouble all afternoon.
