Sebastian Vettel (1:37.642) showed just how strong Red Bull's pole position challenge will be at the Korean GP when the double world champion comfortably topped the final session of free practice.

Vettel's time was more than half a second clear of Lewis Hamilton's McLaren best (1:38.169) with the 2008 world champion 0.35s clear of team mate Jenson Button.

Lotus also deomostrated strong pace with Romain Grosjean (1:38.582), running without the team's new Coanda effect exhaust, eight hundredths quicker than Kimi Raikkonen (1:38.666) who still has the new exhaust layout on his car.

Fernando Alonso's (1:38.705) supersoft tyre time was more than a second adrift of Vettel's pace but a look at the long run times from Friday revealed that Ferrari appears to have very strong race pace.

Mark Webber's Red Bull (1:38.766) was down in seventh place but the Australian was closely matched with Vettel on the soft Pirelli tyre and did not get his supersoft run thanks to an engine electrical issue.

Felipe Massa's Ferrari (1:38.791) finished the session eighth quickest, with Pastor Maldonado's Williams (1:38.883) and Nico Hulkenberg's Force India (1:38.932) completing the top 10.
