Practice 3 Report - Vettel quickest in final practice

Sebastian Vettel (1:24.824) set the quickest time in the final session of free practice for tomorrow's inaugural Indian GP.

On his second quick lap on a set of Pirelli's soft tyre (the prime this weekend, incidentally), the world champion ended the session almost four tenths clear of Jenson Button (1:25.191).

Mark Webber (1:25.203) finished up just a hundredth slower than Button, with Lewis Hamilton (1:25.288) completing a trio of drivers separated by less than a tenth of a second.

The Ferraris didn't appear to be quite in the mix for one-lap pace, with Fernando Alonso (1:25.784) half a second slower, and Felipe Massa (1:26.058) another quarter of a second adrift.

Once again, Massa's 'oscillating' front wing attracted a lot of attention, not least from FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer, with the team changing it midway through the session.

Force India continued to look strong with Paul Di Resta (1:26.785) setting the seventh fastest time of the session, from Nico Rosberg's Mercedes (1:26.873) and team mate Adrian Sutil (1:26.958).

In what looks likely to be a close battle to get into Q3, Sebastian Buemi's Toro Rosso (1:27.146), Michael Schumacher's Mercedes (1:27.217) and Bruno Senna's Renault (1:27.235) completed the top 10. Senna survived a spin right at the end of the session without damaging his Renault.
