Practice 2 Report - Hamilton still ahead

Lewis Hamilton led the way in Friday's second practice in Shanghai, while the two Renaults continued their improbable path to glory with Fernando Alonso second and Nelson Piquet third. Toyota was next up with Jarno Trulli ahead of Mark Webber's Red Bull, Felipe Massa's Ferrari, the Toro Rosso of Sebastien Bourdais and Kimi Raikkonen's Ferrari.

It was a session with a few incidents including another spin for Raikkonen and Bourdais ending up in a sand trap. Nick Heidfeld was ninth with Nico Rosberg 10th, Timo Glock 11th, Robert Kubica 12th and Heikki Kovalainen 13th.

The remainder of the field consisted off of David Coulthard, Sebastian Vettel, Kazuki Nakajima, Giancarlo Fisichella, Adrian Sutil, Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello.
