Practice 2 Report - Red Bull still ahead

Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber continued to dominate practice at Silverstone, the pair ending up six-tenths ahead of the field in the second session. Adrian Sutil was third in a Force India. Webber ended the session stopped out on the track with a mechanical problem of some kind.

Kazuki Nakajima was fourth in his Williams, ahead of Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, Jarno Trulli, Nico Rosberg and Nelson Piquet.

Robert Kubica was 11th quickest with Robert Kubica, Heikki Kovalainen, Timo Glock and Jenson Button.

The field was completed by Nick Heidfeld, Sebastien Bourdais, Felipe Massa, Kimi Raikkonen, Giancarlo Fisichella and Sebastien Buemi.

The time sheets give little indication of the true competitiveness of the cars involved.
