Practice 2 Report - Heikki heads the list

Heikki Kovalainen was fastest in the second session for the British Grand Prix, but the timesheets revealed that there was not much to be taken seriously in the session. Mark Webber was second quickest for Red Bull Racing, with Lewis Hamilton next ahead of David Coulthard, Nico Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel. Jenson Button was seventh fastest for Honda, having been nowhere in the morning, while Felipe Massa was next, despite only a few laps in his rebuilt car.

The sesson saw a rear wing failure for Jarno Trulli which resulted in a crash at Stowe. Otherwise the times men very little.
