Practice 2 Report - Renault goes fastest in Interlagos

Fernando Alonso set the fastest time of the second practice session in Sao Paulo, lapping just a fraction faster than the Toro Rosso of Sebastien Buemi. Rubens Barrichello was third quickest a tenth behind the pair but just ahead of Mark Webber and Jenson Button. Jarno Trulli was sixth quickest in his Toyota and then came Sebastian Vettel with Nico Rosberg eighth, Adrian Sutil's Force India and Lewis Hamilton's McLaren.

Romain Grosjean was 11th ahead of Robert Kubica's BMW Sauber, the Toyota of Kamui Kobayashi, Kazuki Nakajima, Nick Heidfeld, Tonio Liuzzi, Heikki Kovalainen, Kimi Raikkonen, Jaime Alguersuari and Giancarlo Fisichella, the last-named having stopped out on the circuit.
