Vettel and Lauda agree on grid boys issue

When it comes to the issue of 'grid boys' in formula one, it appears Sebastian Vettel and Niki Lauda agree.

Earlier in Brazil, following Lauda's claims about Ferrari ending Mercedes' engine dominance, Vettel said the Austrian legend often "doesn't make any sense".

Lauda said he has clarified the matter with Vettel.

But when told that a 'grid boy' rather than a beautiful woman could be holding his race number on Sunday's grid at Interlagos, Ferrari's Vettel exclaimed: "There are grid boys here? I will go on strike!

"I will have to talk to Bernie Ecclestone about that," he told Bild newspaper.

On the issue of grid boys, however, Vettel's view is very firmly shared by Lauda.

"Grid boys is a terrible idea," said the Mercedes team chairman, "especially in this land of the most beautiful women, Carnival and Samba.

"I hope that Vettel and myself finally agree," Lauda added.
