Steve Nielsen to join Toro Rosso as Sporting Director

Steve Nielsen, Sporting Director at the Caterham Formula One team, is to leave the Anglo/Malaysian outfit and take up the same position at Scuderia Toro Rosso starting on February 1.

Nielsen has previously worked with technical chief Mike Gascoyne at Caterham, Tyrrell and Renault. At Caterham Nielsen oversaw the team's factory move from Norfolk to the former Arrows premises in Leafield.

Nielsen will move to Italy to take up the position.
