Grid penalty for Hamilton!

Lewis Hamilton has been handed a three-place grid penalty for Sunday's Indian Grand Prix, as has Sergio Perez.

Hamilton and Perez set their quickest laps right at the end of the first session of free practice with waved yellow flags displayed in the final sector of the lap.

It is the latest in a long line of run-ins between Hamilton and F1 race stewards in 2011 and will frustrate McLaren's hopes of taking the fight to Red Bull on the Buddh circuit. Hamilton scored the team's first pole position in 27 races at the last event in Korea.

The driver representative on this weekend's stewarding panel is Johnny Herbert.
