Single DRS zone for Suzuka

This weekend's Japanese GP will feature just a singe DRS zone.

The detection point will be 70m after Turn 15, the daunting 130R left-hander towards the end of Suzuka's 5.80km lap. The activation zone will be 30m after the exit of Turn 18, the final right-hander onto the pit straight.

The zone will be on the start-finish straight, running from the exit of the final corner down to the first corner.

The detection point will be 70 metres after Turn 15, with the activation point 30 metres after Turn 18, the final right-hander onto the main start/finish straight.

"It can be hard to pass at Suzuka," said McLaren's Jenson Button, "but with Pirellis, KERS and DRS, hopefully we'll see some great racing."
