Two key questions about the Singapore GP

There are two important questions about the Singapore Grand Prix this year. The first is whether the track modifications are sufficient to have made overtaking possible as it was very clear that last year no-one was able to do much. The second important question is whether or not the crowd numbers remain high or whether Singapore's enthusiasm for racing was a one-off thing. The organisers say that the ticket sales are a little down on last year but otherwise things seem to be fine.

The scandal from last year's race has now come to an end and there seems little more that can come out. The revelations in the FIA dossiers yesterday of Witness X and Pat Symonds's letter to the World Council simply back up what was said.
