McLaren has been proactive in developing viral marketing in Formula 1, bringing the team's products and achievements to the attention of the world, by creating video content that people want to send to one another. This basically amounts to free publicity for all concerned. The latest exploit is from Johnnie Walker, which is keen to promote its message that fans should make a pact with Mika Hakkinen and Lewis Hamilton never to drink and drive.
