Hamilton under re-investigation!

Lewis Hamilton's third place in Melbourne has been called into question by what the FIA describes as a "new element" having emerged in the days since the Australian GP. This appears to be some kind of radio message that passed between Hamilton and McLaren which suggest that he may have given up the place to Jarno Trulli. Melbourne stewards Olafur Gudmundsson and Steve Chopping are in Malaysia and the FIA has designated Tanzanian Surinder Thatti is stand in for Radovan Novak to decide whether or not Trulli should be reinstated.

A meeting is taking place now.
