BBC confirms Coulthard and Jordan as presenters

Martin Brundle will lead the BBC television commentary team next year with David Coulthard alongside him. And in the wings will be opinionated Irishman Eddie Jordan, the former F1 team owner. The actual race commentary will involve Brundle with Jonathan Legard, who made his name in F1 with BBC Radio 5 Live. Lee McKenzie and Ted Kravitz will report from the pits.

The pre-race show will be presented by Jake Humphrey, who began his career on CBBC before becoming the youngest presenter of Football Focus, alongside Coulthard and Jordan.

Murray Walker will also be part of the BBC's coverage as he will be involved with the BBC Sport website, offering "expert insight" and "passionate perspective" on the sport, as well as interacting with F1 fans online.

The BBC has a five-year deal to broadcast F1, having taken over the UK TV rights from ITV. The deal, including exclusive rights to TV, radio, broadband and mobile, will run from next year to 2013.
