Nick Heidfeld has been given a three-place grid penalty for getting in the way of Rubens Barrichello. The penalty means that the German will drop behind Sebastian Vettel, Timo Glock and Nico Rosberg and will share the fifth row of the grid with Kazuki Nakajima. It is not clear why the penalty was only three grid positions when these things are normally five grid slots.
