Trulli gets a fine
Jarno Trulli has been fined $14,600 for driving his car in the opposite direction on the race track in order to enter the pits and for crossing the pit entry line. Trulli had spun his Toyota at the last corner and decided to drive back up the track to enter the pits rather than complete a new lap. The fine seems rather lenient given that drivers are "strictly forbidden" to drive their car in the opposite direction to the race unless this is "absolutely necessary" in order to move the car from a dangerous position.
