Garrett to leave Williams

Scott Garrett, the head of marketing at Williams, has resigned from the team and is to become chief executive and a shareholder in KHP, a sports marketing agency which is close to the Formula One group. This is headed by German Katya Heim, and has enjoyed many contracts over the years thanks to its links with Bernie Ecclestone. The agency, which has been operating since 1984, has close links at the moment with the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and the Bahrain International Circuit. The company has expanded in recent years into other sports. Garrett will stay with Williams until the end of the current season. Garrett has been with Williams for two years.
