Ferrari strengthens Abu Dhabi link
Ferrari has announced a new sponsorship deal from Etihad Airways, the United Arab Emirates national airline, which is owned by the government of Abu Dhabi. The airline was previously a sponsor of the Force India F1 team (in its previous Spyker guise). Ferrari is partially owned by the Mubadala Development Company, which is another government company. There is a third link between Ferrari and Abu Dhabi as the emirate is the venue of the Ferrari theme park that is currently being constructed on Yas Island. The sponsorship agreement is for three years.
